Local Heroes
Our Local Heroes project was launched in the summer of 2020 to support schools and young people with their online musical learning and it’s still popular today!
Each week looked at a different style of music with a specific song to focus on. A range of beginner instrumental parts are available together with backing tracks and translations into British Sign Language, provided by Dr Paul Whittaker OBE. A play along video is also available for each song, performed by team members from MPN Newcastle.
